![]() Ensure the target layer is selected as current, then find the selected item in the Page & Layer Gallery (click the Locate button), right click and select Move to Current Layer.Right click and choose Arrange then Move to layer in front / Move to layer behind to shift the selected objects one layer up or down. These paste options are also in the clipboard fly-out bar on the top bar, as well as the Edit menu. If you want to retain layer structure, choose Paste in place in current layer. If you want to paste all such items to the current layer, ignoring the layer structure, use the Paste in current layer option instead. Items are pasted to the same layer they were copied/cut from, instead of being pasted to the current layer. Note that if you cut or copy multiple items that are on different layers, the layer structure is preserved when you paste. ![]() Ensure the target layer is the current layer (shown with, click the layer if it's not) and then right click and choose Paste or Paste in Place. Cut the object ("Ctrl + X" or right click and Cut).First select the object or objects you want to move, then Create design layers with objects that should always display, or layers that contain objects for display only at particular times. If that doesn't work, have a look at the object manager and save it as a screen dump if possible, so we can better understand what is happening. There are several ways to move objects between layers. Move elements between design layers, or change the scale of a layer, instantly making a detail of an area of the drawing without re-drawing anything. If both objects are fully outside the page border, you should then find both objects are on the desktop layer and can now be re-ordered. To check out this possibility, next time you think you have the problem, try changing to the next or previous page, and back again. I'm guessing that the circumstance where you cannot put your object behind another is probably the condition where one of those objects is on the desktop and the other is on a page. If any part of the object remains inside the page border, the object will remain on the page layer. Note that we are passing to its constructor- a Texture object and that it receives the full path of the image as- we see under Files folder local einstein Bitmap.new (Texture.new (' raeinstein.png '))- create box2d physical object local world b2.World. For an object to move to the desktop layer, as well as changing pages, the object must also be wholly outside the page. ![]() Cut the object, make the desired layer the active one (click on it in the object manager), paste it. Drag the object from the page onto the layer of choice in the object manager. Keeping it on that layer unless you change pages enables that to happen. In the object manager, drag it from one layer to another. If you have several layers and need to move an item off the page temporarily, then move it back soon after, you probably want it to still be on the layer that it originally came from. I have an object that i can move it using a function but when i added the function that make the object move circularly i could not move and drag it. Drag the object from the page onto the layer of choice in the object manager Cut the object, make the desired layer the active one (click on it in the object manager), paste it. ![]() This may sound odd, but it is important to anybody who uses more than one layer.
